The Cortex Dmix300 has the ability to playback audio from any usb device, including usb memory sticks, ipod, mp3 player, external hard drives, external cd-rom etc. It even has a dedicated cradel for easy connection of your ipod, thus eradicating the need for any physical media. No cd’s or vinyl are required at all. The cortex technology allows two tracks to be played back from a single usb device, and it gives full dj control of the audio, including +/-25% pitch range and jog wheel controlled pitch bend. The 80 character lcd displays give all your stored track info including artist, title, time and it features the same intuitive search options that make the cortex systems so easy to use. A fully functional two channel mixer with 3 band eq and gain controls means despite all the digital developments employed in the unit, djing is just as it always has been in the mixing department. For those not satisfied with the digital capabilities, the dmix 300 has dual phono & line inputs for connection of traditional analogue dj devices such as turntables and cd players.
