- 28.6mm Diameter Base Section Tubing
- Boom Arm Length : 450mm (17-3/4")
- Double Braced Leg
Features:
- Nylon Washers

By inserting nylon washers into the leg stand joints we have improved durability and made the leg action much smoother!
- Quick-Set Tilter

The toothless "Quick-set" cymbal tilter lets you adjust the angle freely and hold it in position by the friction of six metal disc plates instead of gears. You’re completely free to adjust it to any angle you desire. This mechanism also has a more durable structure than the conventional gear tilter.
- Boom/Straight Convertible Tilter

Don’t let stingy stage space cramp your style! If there’s no room for a boom, simply convert to a straight stand and the boom arm stores neatly in the upper tube.
- Steel Insert Nut

A threaded steel insert nut placed inside the tripod base is much stronger and therefore less prone to stripping than the tradition method of cutting the threads directly in to the die-cast section. Simply having thicker piping doesn’t make truly professional hardware. What makes hardware professional is stability, durability and easy serviceability. Which is why Roadpro features all kinds of innovations that are small in size, but huge in results.
- Reversible Bottom

The cymbal bottom protects the cymbal’s center hole from the tilter’s shaft and threads. If part of the nylon sleeve wears out, you can continue to use the cymbal bottom by turning it upside down.
- Cymbal Mate

The M8 threaded rod is also thicker to withstand the hardest hitters. A new round shaped Cymbal Mate can be spun easily with just a flick of the finger, but thanks to non-threaded sections on both the new tilter and the Cymbal Mate, the Cymbal mate won’t spin off the top of the tilter during normal play. You can choose two Cymbal Mate positions for Ride or China cymbals: Position 1 for a looser fit (shown left) or Position 2 for a tighter fit (shown right). A new cymbal bottom protects the cymbal hole from the tilter’s threads. And if part of the nylon sleeve wears out, you can continue to use it temporarily by turning it upside down.
- Noiseless Design

Are cymbal stands just for supporting cymbals? We think cymbal stands are also musical instruments. All TAMA cymbal stands in the Roadpro and Swingstar lineups were designed with the elimination of stand noise a top priority. A special rubber cap (A) at the end of the upper tube eliminates swaying and rattling, and a special nylon sleeve (B) underneath the die-cast joint of the base section further reduces swaying.
- Die-cast Joints

You loosen and tighten the T-bolt/nut of the die-cast joint every time you change the height of the cymbal, making the T-bolt/nut one of the hardest-working parts. At each die-cast joint, the T-nut/bolt is combined with a pressure plate and Nylon Bushing. With this design, removing and replacing a worn bolt or bushing is fast and easy.
